An owner asks, “I just received an inquiry from a potential renter who would like to book a full year in advance.  I was considering raising my rates to cover potential future expenses, but I don’t know how to quote my rates for this renter.”

    Thank you - this has been coming up a lot this year. In my area (Smoky Mountains) I look ahead to what the rental companies are doing -- they post rates a year in advance -- the good news is rates are going up! It is worth updating your rate sheet that far ahead.
